At April's Cakes we specialise in birthday cake design. We have many years experience in designing cakes to whatever theme our clients choose.
When we do our birthday cake design we like to have as much input from our clients as possible, this way we can get a real insight into the person for whom we are designing the cake. We give the design a real personal touch which ensures that the cake is designed to suit the person whose birthday the cake will be eaten at. This is something that you don't get from your normal run of the mill cake shops who provide you with an already made birthday cake which at best are usually very boring and nothing like you would expect from a professional cake design company.
When you buy a birthday cake where the design and preparation has been done by us here at April's cakes you know that you are getting a cake that has been specially designed for you alone and no-one else. The cake mixture is matured and infused in the best tasting dark rum and when you taste the cake you can tell the difference from the taste of a cake that you get from your average high street shops.
We can easily arrange for you to have a visit to my home so we can discuss the birthday cake design. We can have a good discussion about the design over a cup of tea so we can really get to know what you want the cake to look like. This is so much better than your normal cake shop where you would go in and say one birthday cake please and you would get the same as the person before you and the person after you, there is no personal touch to the cake.
With the birthday cake design you can see whose birthday it is and they will truly appreciate your efforts to go out of your way to get them a specially designed cake. If you do not live in Cornwall or one of the surrounding areas and cannot get to my house for a home consultation then you can easily email your ideas with scanned pictures of how you would like your cake design to look and then we can come up with something an mail you back what we have come up with and you can look and see if the ideas meet your requirements. If all is ok we will proceeed with the cake design, we do need at least three months notice so the cake mixture has time to almalgamate with all the ingredients that we add to give it it's unique flavour.
