At April's Cakes we specialise in Wedding cake design creating cakes that are designed and made to order and have a truly wonderful taste.
Wedding cake design is taken very seriously and it is not something that can be discussed in a quick phone call so April prefers to have the clients round to her house to discuss their options.
At Aprils house you can sit down and relax have a drink and talk to her about how you would like the design to look, you can bring your own drawings of what you would like or if you can't draw cut some pictures out of wedding magazines or anywhere you can see good pictures and bring them with you. Put any ideas that you have down on paper and then April will put these ideas together to come up with a selection of ideas which will be passed on to the clients who can then take home and have a think about the design.
When you are choosing what wedding cake design you would like you have lots and lots of choices, for instance you dont have to have a square or round cake like you see at most weddings you can have it designed to be any shape you want and have as many tiers as is deemed to be safe without fear of it falling down then you can choose what flavour you want, we have many different flavours and you are free to choose and taste any of them before deciding which you would like.
At April's Cakes we offer cakes that taste truly delicious. They mature for a total of three months in the darkest tastiest rum to give them their special flavour. he coating of the cake is made from a deliciously smooth marzipan and then covered in icing and covered in the most appropriate decorations that will suit the bride and groom. We have been doing wedding cake design for the last six years meaning we have the experience to create that special cake for this the biggest day of your life.
