At April's Cakes we specialise in making wedding cakes in cornwall Uk. Using only the finest ingredients to make cakes that taste wonderful and are made to to order. Every wedding cake that we make here is left to mature for twelve weeks amalgamating with a dark rum. The cakes are covered in a delicious tasting marzipan coating followed by a layer of icing, we will then place on the decorations that you have chosen to go with your cake design. The wedding cakes can be made from sponge, carrot or fruit cake and we have a wide range of flavours including madeira, lemon drizzle and belgian chocolate we have many more flavours all of which you can test before deciding which to have for your wedding cake. We can add hand made sugar decorations such as cupids and pillars that are either long or short. The cakes can be tiered or have sloping levels and they can be designed so they match the theme of your wedding or match the outfits which will be worn on the big day by the bride and groom.
When deciding on the design for your wedding cake we feel that it is better for a home visit to discuss the design this is more personal and you are more relaxed and ideas will come easier when you are relaxed like this.
